Head Coach Luis Garcia

 

Coach Garcia is a 1996 graduate of Don Lugo High School.  He was an All-League athlete in both wrestling and football. But he is most proud of being named Team MVP for the 1995 season at Don Lugo.  

 

Coach continued his football career at Chaffey College in 1996 playing two years for the Panthers.  He was All Foothill Conference 2 years in a row and was 1st Team All State.  He eventually earned a D1 scholoarship to Eastern Michigan University. After obtaining his Bachelors Degree in Communication, he went on to obtain his Master's Degree in Education with high academic honors. In 2009, Coach Garcia was inducted into the Chaffey College Hall of Fame for his accomplishments on and off the field.

 

This will be Coach Garcia's 11th year coaching and his 2nd year leading the Conquistadores as Head Coach. He thoroughly enjoys being Lugo's Offensive Line Coach.

 

Coach Garcia is a teacher at both Don Lugo High School and the Chino Valley USD Community Day School, CVLA.

 

When he is not on the football field, he enjoys spending time with his family on and off the softball and baseball fields.
